Baked Green Beans
"I never liked green beans until I tried these. This recipe is from my Great Uncle Gene's personal recipe box, and I have made it for several dinner parties. Super yummy and easy to prepare."

- 2 (16 ounce) cans green beans, washed and drained
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 4 slices bacon
directions
- Mix well in baking dish.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes.
- Cover and bake 30 minutes more.

Very simple to make but quite delicious! Takes canned beans to a new level. Sweet and sour plus bacon is really yummy. I could have eaten the entire dish. Would be great for Thanksgiving or the holidays as a side with turkey or ham. I'll make these again. Thanks for sharing the recipe! Made for PAC Fall 2007.
