    I found this recipe on the internet. I enjoyed it tremendously. I was asked to post the recipe so here it is. Preparation and cooking time I gave are appropriate because I didn't time it when I cooked this dish.

      In a bowl, mix beef, salt and turmeric. Heat oil in a pot on medium heat.

      Add onion, garlic and ginger and saute 3 minute
    3. 3
      Add the beef mix and spices and saute 5 minute
    4. 4
      Add the water, cover and simmer until beef tender.
    5. 5
      Add potatoes and simmer another 20 minute.
    6. 6
      Serve over top of rice or as a stew with Nana bread.

      Note: If your curry is a bit on the bitter side, add a pinch of sugar (or more to your liking) when adding the sweet potatoes.

      This was really delicious and flavorful. I was intrigued by the combination of ingredients, and they blend together so perfectly. The aroma in the house while this was cooking was fantastic. I simmered the beef for about an hour before adding the sweet potatoes, which I cooked for another 30 minutes. I did end up adding salt, and I think I could reduce the water next time. I will be making this again. Thanks for posting this. Made for Everyday's a Holiday Tag Game.
