  1. These are the BEST ROLLS EVER! Just to let everyone know this recipe can be used in a bread maker! I do it all of the time. It's so easy. Put ingredients as directed and after the flour is added, take a spoon and knead the flour so that when the machine is mixing the mixture the flour won't splatter all over the machine. Don't mix too much, just enough to tuck some of the excess flour into the wet portion. Bless you for this recipe! My family can't get enough! I can bribe them to do anything because of this recipe! Thank you!

  2. My family loved this recipe! I will let the rolls become light brown, because the first batch was medium and a little too hard. I also used a breadbasket, but next time once my dough forms, I will section off the dough in half so it will alieve the pressure off of my machine. Will definitely make again; especially for the holidays!

  3. I mixed this in my stand mixer and after about 5 1/2 cups of flour, I finished adding the rest of the flour on the counter and then kneaded to a nice consistency. I split the dough into two greased glass bowls and let rise for one hour. After punching the dough down, I ended up with 9 dinner rolls and about 7 buns (for hamburgers and such) which rose for 50 minutes. I loved the texture of the dough after the first rise. It was perfect and easy to work with! I thought this recipe called for a lot of flour, but it made ample rolls and buns. This made almost double my normal recipe and the ingredients for this recipe were simplistic to a fault. I omitted the salt entirely as my butter had salt in it and we cut salt where we can. I baked in preheated oven @ 350 for 22 minutes and they cam out perfect, golden brown. The texture! Oh my! These were amazing. My new "goto" recipe for buns and dinner rolls. I no longer buy store bread and this recipe is so easy that my job just got a whole lot easier! Thank you for an amaaaaaazing recipe. :)

  4. I have made these rolls twice now with great success. The recipe makes a lot so I divide the dough in half after the first raising. I bake half right away and refrigerate the other half to be made in the next day or so. These rolls have a nice light and airy texture and delicate soft crust. My son actually prefers these rolls to the crustier breads I normally make. (5)

  5. These were awesome! I made these when another recipe failed horribly. I only Had time to let them rise once but they came out so incredibly good. These are going on my favorites and I will make them again. Thanks for posting!
