Sweet potatoes... tuber of the Gods! This our favorite way to eat them off of the grill.

  1. Blanch sweet potatoes in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and cool with cold water.
  2. Mix marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag or bowl, then add sweet potatoes and marinade for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to 450°F.
  4. Remove sweet potatoes from the marinade, shaking off excess marinade, and place them on the grill. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

I made it exactly as stated. Great addition to grilled chicken or sandwiches. Served with a creamed horseradish sauce for dipping adds tang and creaminess.

I forgot to blanch mine first!! Ooops! So they took a little longer on the grill and they got black but that did not at all affect the taste. They were really good and I only dropped a few slices into the grill. Yummy.

This is great - used less olive oil and zapped them a few minutes in the microwave to precook them. Thanks Whipper! :)
